Error description

  • If administration security is enabled on an ACE v11 Integration
    Node then invalid permission errors can be seen when running
    local mqsi* commands despite the user being a member of the
    mqbrkrs group. For example when running mqsilist against a local
    integration node BIP1185S error messages may be seen:

    $ mqsilist rembrandt
    -----------------------------------
    BIP1185S: You cannot view integration server 'delft' on
    integration node 'rembrandt'.
    BIP8071I: Successful command completion.

Problem conclusion

  • Local users who are part of the mqbrkrs group are now validated
    correctly when running ACE mqsi* commands against an Integration
    Node that has administration security enabled.
