APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In Storage Insights under Insights>Capacity>FlashCopy>View
    Volumes it brings up a list of Protected Volumes instead of the
    FlashCopy Volumes.
    
    "View Volumes" shows the same volumes for
    both the "Protected" and "FlashCopy" columns.
    
    
    RECREATE STEPS:
    
    Observe incorrectly displayed volumes as described
    here.
    
    Problem as described by customer:
    Incorrect volumes for
    the FlashCopy column on the Capacity tab.

Local fix

  • a workaround to see the correct FlashCopy volumes, by device is
    to click the Resources menu > Block Storage Systems
    Then
    right-click the table header and enable the FlashCopy column,
    and then select the link for every non zero FlashCopy column
    value, to see the FlashCopy volumes for a specific device.
