Error description

  • Error Description:

GVM5002E time-out errors can occur during vSphere Web Client
plug-in plugin operations due to how it processes concurrent
requests to read data. When this problem occurs some requests
will wait and eventually time-out which causes the operation
to fail with the following error:

GVM5002E: An error occurred: Time-out exceeded

Log out and log in again. If the problem persist,

Problem conclusion

  • Additional threads that require the same information now wait
for the first thread to complete, then use the same information,
rather than gathering it once per thread. This results in less
wait time for each panel and increases the return time
considerably, leading to less timeouts, if any.
