Error description
"Storage System New Node" alerts are logged after each probe even though there are no new nodes in the environment. This issue occurs when a New Entity alert (in this case, "Storage System New Node" alert) is created under an alert policy before a device is added as a member resource of the policy.
Local fix
Now that the device is already added as a member resource of the policy, we can work around the issue by re-creating the "Storage System New Node" alert: 1. Under the alert policy -> click "Edit Alert Definitions" -> click "-" sign to remove the "New Node" alert -> click "Save changes" 2. Click "Cancel" to go back to the table list view and confirm that "Storage System New Node" alert is indeed removed 3. Click "Edit Alert Definitions" -> Configure "New Node" alert again -> click "Save changes" 4. "Storage System New Node" alert should stop triggering starting from the next probe.
