Error description

  • Using a pool of STGTYPE=COLDDATACACHE, data will be moved to a
tape-based stgpool and copied back to the cold-data-cache when
requested for restore. After a restore request occurs and the
data is copied back to the cold-data-cache, if a server restart
occurs, followed by a client attempting to read the data that
was copied to the cold-data-cache, the read may fail with the
    following messages:

ANR1401W Mount request denied for volume /dir/00000004.BFS -
    mount failed.
ANR0542W Retrieve or restore failed for session 2 for node
    OBJECTCLIENT (macOS)
    - storage media inaccessible.
ANR8389E Device class TAPEOFFDEVCLASS has storage pools using it
    with
inconsistent RECLAMATIONTYPE parameters, or invalid directories
    specified in
    it.

Customer/L2 Diagnostics: This issue is likely occuring if
    message ANR8389E references a devclass used by a cold-data-cache
pool when data is read from a cold-data-cache.
