APAR status

Error description

• After Upgrade of Spectrum Protect server from 8.1.5 to 8.1.6.100
  and above, the server failed to start.
  
  
  Found below issues in the db2diag.log and the Db2 trap.
  
  The db2diag.0.log shows an error like this one when the instance

  According to this DB2 technote there is a database activation
  error on POWER5 after upgrading to DB2 11.1 FP3.

  The version of Spectrum Protect 8.1.6.x is bundled with db2 11.1
  FP3 . At 8.1.6.200 and above (8.1.7) , the db2 version running
  is db2 11.1 FP4.  Hence the Spectrum Protect server version
  8.1.6.x and above needs to have the installation prerequisite
  checker to check and only allow Power 6 and above starting from
  version 8.1.6.x.
