IT28652: THE VSS SNAPSHOT FAILS IF DATABASE IS STORED IN MOUNT POINT FOLDER

Error description

• SPP Exchange Agent fails to backup a database that is stored on
  a volume that is a mount point because the actual volume is not
  included in snapshot set.
  During the VSS snapshot operation, VSS relies on the agent to
  pass a valid volume name. The mount point name of the folder
  may be different than the actual volume name.
  
  Platforms affected: Windows x64

Local fix

• Place or move the Exchange database files to a directory path
  that does not contain mountpoints.

• Get the volume name for the target volume and use volume name in
  creating VSS snapshot.
