IT28125: REPLICATION FAILED BECAUSE SNAPSHOT WAS DELETED BY ANOTHER BACKUP OPERATION OR MAINTENANCE

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A replication may fail with error "Receive operation failed:
  cannot receive: failed to read from stream". This may occur if a
  replication is replicating a snapshot and either maintenance or
  another backup using the storage volume removes the snapshot
  from vSnap.

Problem conclusion

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus has been updated to correct the
  problem. vSnap will prevent the deletion of a snapshot whilst it
  is being actively replicated or offloaded.
