Error description

  • An Adapter Node located in a message flow within an included
    static library can fail to process messages, reporting an error
    of the form:
    BIP3442E: An exception occurred in adapter node '<node label>',
    which is using adapter component '<name>.outadapter'.
    BIP3424E: Message type '<message name>' is not present in
    message set ''. Message types contained in the message set are:
    ''.
    
    Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s):
    

Local fix

  • The only solution other than applying a product fix is to move
     the flow into the owning Application.

    All users of App Connect Enterprise V11.0 who use Adapter nodes
    in flows located in a static library

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    An Adapter Node located in a message flow within an included
    static library can fail to process messages, reporting an error
    of the form:
    
    BIP3442E: An exception occurred in adapter node '<node label>',

Problem conclusion

  • The loading of Adapter message data has been corrected so that
    Adapter nodes located in a flow from a static library can
    execute correctly.
