• "Make VM snapshot application/file system consistent" option is
  not available for Hyper-V backup, so it is unable to choose
  either application or crash via IBM Spectrum Protect Plus GUI.

Problem conclusion

• It was determined that, in IBM Spectrum Protect Plus that the
  option for quiescing the file system was not available for
  Hyperv. A change was made to ensure that the user option is
  available for Hyperv guests.
