IT27620: AUTO-UPDATE-STATISTICS (AUS) NOT PREPARED FOR DELIMITED TABLE OWNER NAMES, CAUSING -206/-111 'TABLE NOT FOUND' OR -201 SYNTAX E

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Tables owned by owners like "DummyOwner" or "dummy owner", so
  created with and depending on DELIMIDENT being set, are causing
  a problem to AUS.
  
  In first case (mixed case letters, but one word only), AUS will
  run onto
  
    -206 The specified table (dummyowner.tabname) is not in the
  database.
    -111 ISAM error:  no record found.
  
  In second case (multiple words owner name), AUS will run onto
  -201 syntax error.
  
  In both cases you'd see lines like the following in message log
  (no error, no warning, unclear what they intend to tell):
  
    SCHAPI:  last statement UPDATE STATISTICS LOW FOR TABLE
  testdb:DummyOwner.tabname
    SCHAPI:  last statement UPDATE STATISTICS HIGH FOR TABLE
  testdb:DummyOwner.tabname(col1) RESOLUTION 0.50 DISTRIBUTIONS
  ONLY FORCE
  
  Where the errors actually are seen is 'onstat -g dbc'.
  
  A similar problem for table name (rather than owner name)
  doesn't seem to exist.
