IT27561: "CDR: COULD NOT STREAM ROW TO DESTINATION(S)." WITH SYSTABLES BRIEFLY LOCKED FROM CONCURRENT UPDATE STATISTICS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• It has been observed that ER, transferring a transaction from
  grouper evaluation phase to send queue and opening related
  databases for transforming rows into actual send format, very
  occasionally would fail with messages like
  
     CDR: Could not stream row to destination(s).
      Replicate <replid> ('<repl_name>').
  
  leading to corresponding apply failures and RIS files (if so
  configured) on target side containing
  
     RRH CDR:45 (Error: Could not read from received stream.) /
  SQL:0 / ISAM:0
     RRD ?|?|?|?|?|?...          <<  i.e. no row data spooled to
  ris file.
  
  The reason had been determined, in this case, to be failures to
  open rows' database due to locks briefly held on their systables
  table by an UPDATE STATISTICS command being executed.
  
  Of course affected rows finally would be missing on target side,
  in database as well as ris files.
