APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Executing "audit container stgpool=cloudpool" to audit a cloud
    stgpool.   Under a rare condition when the auditing container is
     currently in-flight between the cache to cloud and process
    receives error to access the container. the container might be
    set to  damaged.
    
    L2/customer diagnostics:
    
    1: When the problem happened, the following error can be logged
    in the server activity log:
    
    ANR4886I Audit Container (Scan) process started for container
    /tsmstorage/dir3/dbpool/1b/06/0000000000061bd-9.dcf
    ANR3731E A request to the cloud service provider for the  read
    object operation on the CLOUDPOOL  storage pool   failed with
    the 503 HTTP status code
     ANR4630W Container /tsmstorage/dir3/dbpool/1b/06/0000000
    000061bd9.dcf in storage pool CLOUDPOOL cannot be  opened. Audit
    will mark the container as unavailable and
     all the data extents in it as damaged.
     ANR0204I The container state for
    tsm.cloud/bd9-ffe3913ec72c11e88d8348630a20c01a-L/0000000000061bd
    9.dcf is updated from READONLY to   UNAVAILABLE.
    
    2: "query damaged stgpool=cloudpool t=container "  returns this
    container as damaged

    container as unavailable.
    
    3:  after the COS connectivity is established, execute audit
    container on the damaged container will reset the damaged
    container back to normal.
