APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• VADP Proxy selection in By proxy options of a hypervisor type
  single selection is not properly played back to the user.
  Another VADP proxy is used during that virtual machine backup
  instead. The check to match the saved proxy against the live
  queried proxy list is based on hostname which is not consistent
  because the association hasn't been updated to reflect the
  correct proxy.

Problem conclusion

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus has been updated to resolve the
  playback issue regarding VADP proxy selection. A more effective
  method than relying on the Host Name for the proxy is being
  used.
