IT26809: TSM VE PLUGIN REGISTERED ON ONE VCENTER IS ALSO SEEN ON THE LINKED VCENTER

Error description

• When you run the installation of the TSM for VE client code and
  installed the Plugin on the dataMover, Only put the details for
  the vCenter(vCenter1) during the installation.
  Once the code was installed, It was noticed that it is
  registered correctly in the MOB for the vCenter(vCenter1),  It
  was noticed that the plugin "IBM Spectrum Protect" is showing up
  in the vCenter(vCenter2) but you never registered it on
  vCenter(vCenter2) but
  there is no entry in the MOB of the vCenter(vCenter2) for the
  following "com.ibm.tsm.tdpvmware.IBMDataProtection" at following
  location "https://vcenter_IP/mob -> select content -> select
  ExtensionManager -> select More".
  Whenever you unregister, it removes the plugin from
  vCenter(vCenter2) and removes the MOB entry from
  vCenter(vCenter1) but ONLY putting in values for the
  vCenter(vCenter1) not vCenter(vCenter2).
  Whenever you register, it adds the plugin on vCenter(vCenter2)
  and adds the MOB entry on vCenter(vCenter1) as  you are only
  putting in values for vCenter(vCenter1) not vCenter(vCenter2).

• None
  NOTE: This is working as designed as per VMWare as this is the
  way the vCenter linked mode works. You can do
  further research on the web regarding vCenter linked mode.

Problem conclusion

• While the plug-in is visible to every vCenter, the functionality
  of the plug-in is only available to each vCenter that has an IBM
  Spectrum Protect Data Protection for VMware GUI host associated
  with it. Update all GUI hosts in a timely manner to allow full
  functionality of newer plug-ins.
