IT26777: MAINTENANCE JOB GIVES ERROR 'FAILED TO CLEANUP THE JOB'

Error description

  • The following error can be seen in the joblog when the
    maintenance job runs on Spectrum Protect Plus after deleting a
    SLA:
    
    ERROR,...,2,Failed to cleanup the job :

    deleted: true)

    triggered because the SLA was deleted (see the INFO message in
    the joblog: 'Has job been deleted: true')

Problem conclusion

  • IBM Spectrum Protect Plus has been updated to address a null
    pointer exception that occurred during a  maintenance job. This
    impacted the volume cleanup phase of the operation.
