APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Problem Description: When using Client Deployment via the
Operations Center to send client packages to a spoke server and
replication encounters a problem, the failed package may be
marked as successful.  These packages will not be available for
use on the spoke server, and they will not be retried on future
runs of Client Deployment.

Customer/L2 Diagnostics: After replication encounters errors
during Client Deployment processing, issuing 'SELECT * FROM
CLEINT_PKG' shows STATE=7 for the packages that were not
replicated.

Local fix

  • Contact IBM Support to fix the incorrect package states.
