IT26411: INCORRECT VALUES FOR A9000 IN STORAGE SYSTEMS CAPACITY PREDEFINED COGNOS REPORT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The IBM Spectrum Control GUI shows the correct physical % used
  shortfall % (as compared to the IBM Hyper-Scale Manager GUI),
  but the Cognos Analytics predefined report (Storage System
  Capacity) is not showing this data correctly for an A9000
  storage device.
  - System shortfall % is wrong in Cognos report
  - Physical allocation % is blank in Cognos report
  

Local fix

• Workaround:
  Adjust the Block Storage System table columns as desired on
  Spectrum Control 5.2.x and choose Actions > Export > Export as
  ...
