Error description

• Whilst the maintenance SLA of the Spectrum Protect Plus server
  ends with a 'completed' status, it shows the following error
  messages:
  
  WARN,...,POST request for
  "http://localhost:8082/api/endeavour/jobsession/1524744517221?ac
  tion=expirecatalog" resulted in 500 (Internal Server Error);
  invoking error handler
  ERROR,...,Failed to expired job session
  org.springframework.web.client.HttpServerErrorException: 500
  Internal Server Error
  
  The 500 Internal server error should not be shown in the job log
  for JobSession REST API's.

Problem conclusion

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus has been updated to improve
  job logging when conditions cause an expirecatalog action
  to fail. IBM Spectrum Protect Plus checks to ensure the job
  session record exists before expiring the catalog. The
  500 Internal Server Error will not be logged in the job log.
  

Temporary fix

• Customer should upgrade their 10.1.1 environment to build 190.
