Error description

  • Error Description:
    
    Several level 2 panels within the operations center might not be
    getting updated with current data. The panels affected are the
    Servers, Storagepools, Policies, Tape-devices, Disk-devices, and
    Replication panels.
    The reason this happens is because of network/comms problems
    occurring on the operations center hub, which eventually kills
    the control thread (configuration monitor) which controls the
    listener threads for data collection.
    
    Customer/L2 Diagnostics (If Applicable)
    
    Review of the tsm_opscntr.log file, which is located in either
    AIX/Linux:
    installation_dir/ui/Liberty/usr/servers/guiServer/logs or for
    Windows: installation_dir\ui\Liberty\usr\servers\guiServer\logs
    , will reveal several stack traces.
    
    Depending on the version of Operations Center your running, the
    beginning of the stack shown below may vary, so may not be
    completely identical. If your affected by this issue, search for
    the line
    "com.ibm.tsm.gui.connections.manage.ConfigMonitorThread" from
    the stack and the calls below this line should match exactly to
    what is seen below :
