Error description

• During backup operations, individual VMs may fail with evddk-7
  errors.  For example:
  
  [I] <VDDK> VixDiskLib: VixDiskLib_Close: Failed to close disk.
  Error 7 (A file access error occurred on the host or guest
  operating system) (DiskLib error 327689: Input/output error) at
  5114.
  [E] Disk /vsnap_pool/vmname/vmname.vmdk(read-write),
  (Handle:0x7f4c501bf740) could not be closed. Error: A file
  access error occurred on the host or guest operating system
  (evddk-7)
  
  The backup operation will then report the following:
  [E] The backup job failed. Error:close() failed for one or more
  disks. (ebackup-close-file)
  [E] close() failed for one or more disks. (ebackup-close-file)

Problem conclusion

• This problem has been resolved by the removal of the "-f"
  force) option when umounting the NFS share after backups
  complete. One mount point is now used per datastore for a
  jobsession which could inlcude backups of multiple VMs using
  the same datastore. When a mount point is shared by multiple
  VMs being backed up, the umount operation is performed only
  when the mount point is no longer in use. The "-l" (lazy)
  option is used for this.
