APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When SSL is enabled on remote integration node, mqsilist will
not work if you use  a integrationNodeFileName(*.broker)
exported from toolkit.

mqsilist -n integrationNodeFileName fails with BIP1921S

Local fix

  • You can open the integrationNodeFileName and change the
sslIncludeCipherSuites property to SSL_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA
and sslIncludeProtocols to "TLSv1,TLSv1.1,TLSv1.2" and issue
mqsilist again.

Problem summary

USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise v11 and IBM Integration
Bus v10, who use mqsilist with IntegrationNodeFileName exported
from the toolkit.


Platforms affected:
z/OS, MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When SSL is enabled on a remote integration node, the mqsilist
command will not work if you use an
IntegrationNodeFileName(*.broker) file exported from the
toolkit.

"mqsilist -n integrationNodeFileName" fails and the following
errors may appear
BIP1921S
BIP3152S
BIP8081E

Problem conclusion

  • The mqsilist command no longer fails to connect to a remote
integration node when an IntegrationNodeFileName file that has
been exported from the toolkit is used.
