Error description

  • Even when using the JMS 2.0 interface it is not possible to use
shared subscriptions with the JMSInput node.

This APAR introduces a new node option to allow Shared
Subscriptions to be supported.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The JMSInput Node does not allow the creation of shared
subscriptions.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A new option "shareable subscription" has been added to the
JMSInput node. When selected, if a subscribed ID has also been
provided then a shared subscription will be created. It is also
possible to create shared and durable subscriptions by selecting
both the "shareable subscription" option and the "durable
subscription" option.
