Error description
The server can crash during a "PROTECT STGPOOL TYPE=LOCAL" operation if a container experiences an IO error. Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected: All server platforms at 7.1.7 and 8.1.x levels Customer/L2 Diagnostics : - When the problem occurs, the dsmffdc log file might display messages as follows. These are from a Windows server. On Unix servers, the message might vary somewhat.
