Error description

  • In a high availability configuration where the integration node
    is using a shared work path, the mqsireportdbparms command
    reports the following error when trying to verify a password:
    
    BIP2113E: Integration node internal error: diagnostic
    information ''No such file or directory'', '2',
    ''/shared_work_path/registry/myIntegrationNode/CurrentVersion
    /AdminAgentPID''.
    
    The command is incorrectly looking in the shared work path for
    the registry file 'AdminAgentPID'.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of IBM Integration Bus V9.0 and V10.0 using the
    mqsireportdbparms command in an environment configured for high
    availability.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    z/OS, MultiPlatform

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    In a high availability configuration where the integration node
    is using a shared work path, the mqsireportdbparms command
    reports the following error when trying to verify a password:
    
    BIP2113E: Integration node internal error: diagnostic
    information ''No such file or directory'', '2',
    ''/shared_work_path/registry/myIntegrationNode/CurrentVersion/Ad
    minAgentPID''.
    
    The command is incorrectly looking in the shared work path for
    the registry file 'AdminAgentPID' which should always be stored
    in the local non-shared repository. It uses this registry entry
    to determine whether the AdminAgent is running and whether it
    has been restarted since the last change was made to the
    datasource being reported.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The mqsireportdbparms command now always searches the local
    registry for the 'AdminAgentPID' file for both HA and non-HA
    environments.

    The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
