IT22200: SUBFLOW WITH LABEL NODE PROMOTED PROPERTY FAILS TO DEPLOY

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A subflow that has a Label node with promoted property and the
  same subflow is used multiple times in the message flow
  where one of the subflow 'label name' is promoted property value
  and others have unique overridden property value
  fails to deploy with the following error :
  
  BIP4050E: Duplicate labelName attribute 'AAA' in label node.
  Two label nodes within a message flow have been found to have
  the same labelName attribute AAA.
  
  The message flow must be changed so that each label node has a
  unique labelName attribute.
  

Local fix

• To change the label name to unique name different from the
  promoted property value.
  

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  All users of IBM Integration Bus v10.0 promoting the properties
  of the Label node in a subflow.
  
  
  Platforms affected:
  z/OS, MultiPlatform

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  The nodes in a subflow can promote their properties to the
  subflow. These promoted properties can then be overridden on the
  subflow node in the parent flow that uses the subflow.
  
  If a Label node is included in the subflow and its property is
  promoted to the subflow and the same subflow is used multiple
  times in the message flow, where one of the subflow 'label name'
  is a promoted property value
  and others have unique overridden property values then this will
  cause a BIP4050E when deployed .
  

Problem conclusion

• Deploying Label node in a subflow with promoted properties will
  no longer cause BIP4050E.
