IT22105: STARTUP ERRORS CAUSED BY INCORRECT PRODUCT INSIGHTS OBJECT CONFIG

Fix packs for DataPower Gateway version 7.6

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customers might see the following error in logs for DataPower:
  [0x81000243][cli][error] : required property
  host is missing
  [][cli][error] : (startup-config:812): exit
  This is due to a Products Insights object is 'Enabled' by
  default.
  Prior to this change, the WEBGUI will not allow you to disable
  it without specifying required fields.
  This APAR addresses this issue by:
  Creating sample values for the required field of the products
  insights objects and disabling it by default
  

Local fix

• Manually set values in the required fields and disable the
  object to avoid startup errors. (assuming you do not wish to
  configure this)
  

Problem summary

• DataPower boots with product-insights startup errors due to
  missing required fields.
  

Problem conclusion

• Prevent product-insights object from creating startup errors by
  adding default values for required object

Temporary fix

• Insert placeholder values for required fields, disable object,
  apply and save configuration.
