  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Once message flows/subflows with User Defined Properties
(UDPs) defined are deployed it is possible to update the value
of the UDPs using REST/Integration APIs and the WebUI.

A defect exists such that it is possible to encounter
BIP4052E/BIP4056E exceptions and the UDP is not updated.
If the WebUI was used to update the UDP then the following
    error would be seen:

"A problem occurred while trying to save the properties to the
server. It is possible that the connection with the server was
    lost."

    Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s): UDP's, WEBUI,
    REST/Integration APIs, BIP4052E/BIP4056E

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When creating message flows/subflows it is possible to create
User Defined Properties (UDPs). Once message flows/subflows are
deployed it is possible to update the value of the UDPs using
REST/Integration APIs and the Web Administration (WebUI).

A defect existed such that it was possible to encounter
BIP4052E/BIP4056E exceptions and the UDP was not updated. If the
WebUI was used to update the UDP then the following error would
    be seen:

"A problem occurred while trying to save the properties to the
server. It is possible that the connection with the server was
    lost."

Problem conclusion

  • The product has been corrected so that the UDP value is updated
successfully when using the REST/Integration APIs or the Web
Administration (WebUI) interface, with no errors occurring.
