IT20854: MAPPING NODE WARNINGS IN STDERR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After upgrading IBM Integration Bus fix pack, warnings may
  appear in the stderr of an Integration Server each time the
  Mapping node is
  invoked.
  
  This can happen when the flow has not been redeployed after the
  upgrade.
  
  An example of a warning is
  
  IXJXE0943E: [ERR 0754] Warning, the
  specified translet, 'xmap__............', was created using a
  version of the processor older than the version of the processor
  run-time that is in use. You may get performance benefits if you
  recompile the
  stylesheet or query with the newer version of the processor.
  

Local fix

• Rebuild the BAR files and redeploy or delete all deployed flows
  and redeploy the BAR files without rebuilding them.
  

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  Users of IBM Integration Bus versions 9 and 10, who use Mapping
  node and upgrade the Integration Bus fix pack without
  redeploying the BAR files.
  
  
  Platforms affected:
  MultiPlatform, z/OS

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  After upgrading IBM Integration Bus fix pack, warnings may
  appear in the stderr of an Integration Server each time the
  Mapping node is
  invoked.
  
  This can happen when the flow has not been redeployed after the
  upgrade.
  
  An example of a warning is

  The Mapping will operate correctly, however these messages will
  cause the integration server stderr file, within the location
  defined via MQSI_WORKPATH, to grow in size over time.
  

Problem conclusion

• IBM Integration Bus no longer issues warnings to the integration
  server stderr file.
  It can be reverted to previous behaviour of issuing the warnings
  if the environment variable   MQSI_ENABLE_XLTXE_WARNINGS is set
  to any value.
