APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Chargeback report displays incorrect values.
    The values displayed on the Console and in the exported reports
    is larger than the actuals.  The error is with the generation
    of the reports themselves; the chargeback data stored within the
    internal database is correct.
    
    In addition, 'pattern name' in the report is being set to the
    deployment name instead of the pattern name.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Intermediate interval values that were stored for
    chargeback records were being added to the final sum.
    The pattern name needed to be obtained from the pattern,
    and not the deployment instances.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System
    and BlueMix Local System version 2.2.3.0.
