Error description

  • GPFS 3 Node deployment fails on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2
with non-ascii error return code from the iptables status
command.

The error in the log is:

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • The server status call was returning a non-ascii character
on RHEL 7.2. The status call has been removed.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System and
BlueMix Local System version 2.2.3.0 in GPFS Pattern Type
1.2.8.0.
