APAR status

Error description

  • PureApplication System: customer can not access their virtual
machines (VMs) and cannot deploy new virtual systems.

Accessing the running VMs using ssh will get the following
failure : At least one disk in the BootList was not found yet.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • There was a V7000 storage management outage that was detected
by a PureApplication job that was looking for and
deleting stale or orphaned disks, which caused the virtual
machine outage.  The PureApplication job has been disabled as
it is no longer necessary.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System and
BlueMix Local System version 2.2.3.0.
