Error description

  • If a delete filespace is issued on the Tivoli Storage Manager /
IBM Spectrum Protect Server at the same time there is other
processing for the given node and filespace the following
ANR9999D message set may be seen against that other activity. In
this case a client session:

is actually occurring but this message is being issued
unnecessarily. The ANR9999D message should should not be issued
in this case.
Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected: 6.3 and 7.1 all
platorms
Initial Impact: Low

Local fix

  • Don't run a delete filespace when there is other processing for
the filespace/node occuring. Ignore the ANR9999D_1658998993 and
associated messages
