APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Several mount point directories like (/opt) and (/var) have
been prohibited as mount points for disk add-ons, as the usage
of these mount points can break the deployment of default IBM
    OS images.

Custom OS images which might not have this restriction on mount
points cannot be deployed anymore, as the PureApplication
    console does not allow them.

This APAR will lift this restriction again and turn the usage
of critical mount points into warnings.
