Error description

  • PureApplication System - customer saw the following:
    
    CWZIP2441E The High Availability state of Cloud Group
    HighAvailability has decreased to Inactive from Available
    
    CWZIP2441E The High Availability state of Cloud Group
    [CloudGroupName] has decreased to Inactive from Available
    
    when multiple GPFS server virtual machines were deployed
    into the [CloudGroupName] cloud group.
    

Local fix

  • Customer may switch from using Cloud HA to System HA to
    alleviate the problem.
    

Problem summary

  • The anti-colocation placement code should not be
    checking hard placement constraints during a failure scenario.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System and
    BlueMix Local System version 2.2.3.0.
