Error description

  • In configurations using many SQL data sources, DataPower might
spontaneously restart, generating a watchdog backtrace.
This might be triggered by traffic or by accessing specific
status providers, one of them being SystemUsage2Table.
    e.g.
    - WebGUI: Status / System / System Usage
    - CLI: show load
    - XML Management: SystemUsage2Table
    - SNMP: dpStatusSystemUsage2TableTable

Local fix

  • Avoid access specific status provider,
    e.g.
    - WebGUI: Status / System / System Usage
    - CLI: show load
    - XML Management: SystemUsage2Table
    - SNMP: dpStatusSystemUsage2TableTable

Problem summary

using SFTP, NFS or database connectivity are under heavy load.
