APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A Windows 2012 R2 OS image is created by using the IBM OS
Pattern Kit.  When this Windows virtual system pattern is
deployed, 9 maestro rules are registered to the Windows firewall
settings.  Every time the virtual machine instance is restarted,
the same 9 maestro rules are registered to the Windows firewall
settings again.

  • The maestro firewall python script has been updated to
correct this behavior.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A code fix is being provided in the Foundation Pattern
Type version 2.1.9.0 provided with PureApplication System
and BlueMix Local System version 2.2.3.0.
