APAR status

Error description

  • When users modify data in a table that has referential
constraints with other tables, and update statistics are run on
those tables during the same time, memory corruption can happen.
The following partial stack has been seen, and is the most
obvious thing associated with this defect, but other assertion
failures are possible:
