APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Existing SMTP connection information is removed during upgrade
    when test connection fails.
    Attempts to manually update the missing information fails due to
    connection test failing.
    GEN0332E Unable to connect to host xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, port 25
    Attempts to send a test email fail with:
    Gen0355E  Unable to send test email message to <host>
    .
    Test fails due to hardcoded ibm email address which will not
    exist in customer environments.
    RECREATE STEPS:
    Prior to running upgrade to 5.2.11 ensure a working SMTP
    configuration exists.
