Error description
Restoring a VM using the Data Protection for VMware WebClient Extension creates a new GUID when this VM is restored to the original VM name. This is because the Webclient Extension handles all restored VMs as renamed VMs and creates a new GUID to avoid duplicate GUIDs. When restoring a VM to the original VM name, it should keep its original GUID.
