APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• IBM Spectrum Control fails to collect volume statistics for
  newly created SVC volumes resulting in skipped sample messaging.
  This is due to no snapshot being available for 4 new volumes
  until the next probe occurred 8 hours later.

  timestamp 09/08/16 01:47:44 AM GMT+00:00 was collected and
  processed successfully. 4231 performance data records were
  inserted into the database repository.

  timestamp 09/08/16 01:48:44 AM GMT+00:00 was collected and
  processed successfully. 4231 performance data records were
  inserted into the database repository.
  2016-09-08 01:52:51.466 HWNPM4182W 4 of the volume statistics
  from the device agent were unrecognized and were not included in
  this sample interval.

  RECREATE STEPS:
  Create new SVC volumes; Spectrum Control fails to create
  snapshots for these volumes and they do not get detected until
  the next probe.
