Error description

  • Spectrum Control failed to detect any performance data for a
newly created SVC storage pool, after
volumes were migrated to that pool which are known to have I/O.
When this occurred, Spectrum Control failed to create a new
snapshot to reflect the new parent pool.
Because of this, Spectrum Control is unable to report any
performance for the volumes in this pool.
Diagnosing this problem requires comparing the
    T_RES_STORAGE_VOLUME and T_RES_STORAGE_VOLUME_SNAPSHOT
tables for one example volume known to exist in the newly
created storage pool. If its last
    UPDATE_TIMESTAMP value in the T_RES_STORAGE_VOLUME_SNAPSHOT
table is older than expected (doesn't
reflect current probe completion times) then this defect is
    likely at fault.
    RECREATE STEPS:
Migrate volumes from one SVC storage pool to a new storage pool.
    Observe no performance reported for
    the new storage pool.
