APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When uncompression of SMX buffer failed, the engine will
continue as if nothing happened.  This will cause the RSS not to
send any ACK back to the primary and can lead to RSS in
BlockLogXmit status.

Local fix

  • Disable SMX_COMPRESS.
