APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When performing a cross platform migration between AIX and Linux
  x86_64, the DSMSERV INSERTDB step can fail with an error
  ANR0100E tbinsert.c(8543): Error 1115 creating table
  "Export.Objects".
  
  In some cases, it will fail with one or more of these messages
  instead
  
  ANR0101E tbinsert.c(4574): Error 1115 opening table
  "Export.Sessions".
  ANR0101E tbinsert.c(4574): Error 1115 opening table
  "Export.Objects".
  ANR0101E tbinsert.c(4574): Error 1115 opening table
  "Export.Filespaces".
  The errors occur when a restartable server-to-server
  export/import session was suspended on the source server before
  starting the cross platform migration.

  Tivoli Storage Manager server 7.1.5.

Local fix

• First work around:
  Manually create the missing Export tables on the target server
  before running DSMSERV INSERTDB.   Steps to accomplish this are:
  - On the source server, use 'db2look' to extract DDL for the
  three export tables to a file.
  db2look -d tsmdb1 -e -t EXPORT_FILESPACES EXPORT_OBJECTS
  EXPORT_SESSIONS -z tsmdb1 >export.ddl
  - On the target server, after running DSMSERV LOADFORMAT, use
  the DDL to create the
  tables
    db2start
    db2 -c -f export.ddl -t;
    db2stop
  - Run DSMSERV INSERTDB as normal
  Second work around:
  Empty out the export_objects table by canceling any suspended
  export sessions.
  - Issue QUERY EXPORT to confirm that there are suspended
  sessions
  - Issue CANCEL EXPORT * to cancel all suspended sessions
  - Issue either RUNSTATS ALL or RUNSTATS Export.Objects
  (in dsmadmc) to rebuild statistics for the table
  - Stop server and perform EXTRACTDB/LOADFORMAT/INSERTDB to
  load the updated database into target server
