APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When installing or upgrading 7.1.3.0 Spectrum Protect Server or
later on AIX,
a Requisite Failure is received if xlC.rte is below 13.1.0.0.
Installation Manager tries to install 13.1.0.1 xlC if the
filesets are
below this level.   If xlC.rte is below 13.1.0.0, then
a Requisite Failure is received.


Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected:
7.1.3.0 and later on AIX only.

  • Download and manually upgrade xlC to 13.1.0.1
