IT13745: PUREAPPLICATION SYSTEM: COMPUTE NODES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PURESYSTEMS MANAGER LOG COLLECTION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The collection set created from the shell command for compute
  nodes using the [computenode_id] fails. The scenario is:
  
  1. Get a compute node id by using the REST API
   - https://<host>/admin/resources/systemlogs?collection_sets
   - scroll down to the "collection_set":"computenodes"
   - get the value of the collection_set entry for
     id = computenodes_1
   for example:
      computenodes_1=computenodes-xxxx-yyyy-aaaa-zzzzzz
  2. Use the value to create the collection set from the shell:
     psm gatherlogs collect computenodes-xxxx-yyyy-aaaa-zzzzzz
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The gather logs code did not include processing parameter
  values that started with "computenodes-".
  

Problem conclusion

• A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System
  version 2.2.0.0.
