Error description

  • The customer created a custom OS image using the IBM OS Pattern
Kit for Linux. The labels in the Pattern Editor for the image,
such as: Virtual CPUs, Memory Size, and Passwords are not
displayed correctly.

The labels contain values which appear to be the label
identifiers instead of the label values:
HWAttributes.numvcpus.label
HWAttributes.memsize.label
ConfigPWD_ROOT.password.label

Problem summary


    

  • The IBM OS Pattern Kit message bundles needed to be merged into
the custom image so that they are available to be properly
displayed.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The IBM OS Pattern Kit version 2.2.0.0 has been updated to
correct this issue.
