APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The pattern administrator applied the IBM Integration Bus (IIB)
fixpack version 10.0.0.2 to the IIB pattern version 10.0.0.0.

The fixpack installed correctly, but the maintenance detail for
the IIB pattern still displays 10.0.0.0 and the update operation
is still enabled. Attempting to reapply the fixpack does not
result in it being installed again, but this should be
corrected.

Trace log files may contain the following error:
Error: maintenance/install_updates.py 1 pid=XXX DEBUG
Error/exception during install fixpack:(<type
'exceptions.KeyError'>, KeyError('installtype',), <traceback
object at 0x1107a5758>)

  • There was a problem in the code processing the middleware
fixpacks.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System
version 2.2.0.0 in Foundation Pattern Type version 2.1.6.0.
