APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The following messages are examples of "broken link" errors
  which users will encounter while running custom reports, after
  TPC servers are upgraded to IBM Spectrum Control 5.2.8 (these
  show up when reports are run, no log file investigation needed):
  Could not find package capabilities associated with report model
  "/content/folder[@name='IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center
  Packages']/package[@name='Performance']/model[@name='2015-02-27T
  19:46:17.716Z']".
  Content Manager did not return an object for the requested
  search path '/content/folder[@name='IBM Tivoli Storage
  Productivity Center Report
  Layouts']/report[@name='report_page_template']'.
  Notice in these reports, the section titled: ‘Source report:’
  It will say Unavailable.
  RECREATE STEPS:
  Upgrade a 5.2.7 (or prior) TPC server to Spectrum Control 5.2.8,
  observe that custom reports are broken

Local fix

• This problem happens because all of the pre-defined report names
  have been changed from ‘Public Folders > IBM Tivoli Storage
  Productivity Center ..” to ‘Public Folders > IBM Spectrum
  Control
  .’
  The Spectrum Control upgrade installer is unable to update
  custom reports.
  To fix this issue,
  Locate each individual custom report or package that was being
  referenced with the old name, and update it to reflect the new
  name, as described above.
  Contact support for assistance if needed.
