• TPC upgrade from 5.2.7.0 to IBM Spectrum Control 5.2.8.0 failed
  with error:
  "BPCIN0126E Unable to find DB2 installation path."

  Verify DB2 DIAGPATH parameter value:
  >db2 get dbm cfg | grep DIAGPATH
  Diagnostic data directory path               (DIAGPATH) =
  <customized directory>/db2dump/

  TPC installer expects that db2 DIAGPATH contains sqllib and it
  checks if the part before sqllib really exists as directory.
  Moreover, the path until sqllib (including that directory) must
  contain a subdirectory named java and inside it the file
  db2jcc.jar, if that is missing then upgrade fails. In above case
  sqllib directory path missing in diagpath.
  

Local fix

• - Update DIAGPATH parameter that should have sqllib directory in
    the path and sqllib directory should contain the file
    java/db2jcc.jar (so a subdirectory named java that contains
    the file db2jcc.jar,   which should be there from the DB2
    installation and represents a DB2 driver).
  - Stop and start DB2
  - Retry upgrade
  
  Example:
  1. Locate the sqllib directory. In this example sqllib located
  here:
      /home/db2inst1/sqllib
     Also, double check  file/home/db2inst1/sqllib/java/db2jcc.jar
  must exist.
  2. Then, update diagpath parameter using below DB2 command:
   >db2 update dbm cfg using diagpath
  "/home/db2inst1/sqllib/db2dump/"
  3. Stop DB2
    >db2stop
  4. Start DB2
   >db2start
  5. Retry upgrade
